An unmounted silver print, judging by the clothes of the mourners the photograph dates from the 1920s or possibly from the early 1930s. It shows an American family lined up behind a open half-couch casket on a wooden porch.

The print measures 5” by 7” (13 cm by 17.8 cm).

Photographer and location unidentified, but the feel of the photograph is certainly American and it was bought from a dealer in the United States.
