Born on 14 September 1833, Susan Charlotte Calcraft was the daughter of John Hales Calcraft and Lady Caroline Catherine Montagu. On 16 July 1858, she married Granville Augustus William Waldegrave, 3rd Baron Radstock, son of Vice-Admiral Granville George Waldegrave, 2nd Baron Radstock. She died on 8 December 1892 at the age of 59.
