Reverend William Keppel

Born on 7 October 1804, William Arnold Walpole Keppel was a great-grandson of the 2nd Earl of Albemarle. He held the office of Registrar of the Diocese of Exeter and was the Rector of Haynford in Norfolk. He lived at Lexham Hall in East Lexham, Norfolk.

On 7 September 1830 he married Frances Georgiana Sophia Marsham, daughter of Robert Marsham of Stratton Strawless in Norfolk. According to a gazetteer of 1845, the bride's father owned the better part of Haynford and was the patron of the local church.

Reverend William Keppel died, aged 84, on 26 November 1888 at Lexham Hall in Norfolk. He left an estate valued at £17,028.
