The Honourable Alice Hanbury-Tracy
(1839-1877)

Born on 16 April 1839, the Honourable Alice Augusta Gertrude Hanbury-Tracy was the fourth daughter of 2nd Baron Sudeley of Toddington.

She appears on the 1861 census living with her parents, her siblings, a governess and 24 servants (including a butler, an under-butler and three footmen) at 144 Marine Parade, Brighton.

On 28 May 1861 (three weeks after this portrait was taken) she married Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Edward Webber of the Royal Engineers at St Nicholas's Church in Brighton.

The Honourable Mrs Charles Webber died, aged 38, on 25 February 1877 at Albert Terrace, Knightsbridge. She was buried on 2 March at Toddington in Gloucestershire.
