The Earl of Uxbridge is a courtesy title held by the eldest son of the Marquess of Anglesey.

Henry William George Paget was born on 9 December 1821, the son of Sir Henry Paget, 2nd Marquess of Anglesey and Eleanora née Campbell. On 7 June 1845 he married Sophia Eversfield, daughter of James Eversfield at Horsham in Sussex.

He served as an officer in the Grenadier Foot Guards and was the Member of Parliament (Liberal) for South Staffordshire from 1854 to 1857. He succeeded his father on 6 February 1869, becoming the 3rd Marquess of Anglesey.

He died without issue, aged 58, on 30 January 1880 at his London residence, Albert Mansions on Victoria Street in Westminster.

'The Marquis of Anglesey died yesterday, after two or three day's illness, at his residence in Victoria-street. He was born in December, 1821; succeeded his father as third marquis on February 7, 1869; and married on June 7, 1845, Sophia, daughter of the late Mr James Eversfield, of Denne Park, county Sussex. He was formerly a lieutenant and captain in the 1st Life Guards' (Pall Mall Gazette, 31 January 1880).
