Duc Nicolas de Leuchtenberg
(1843-1891)

Prince Nicolas de Leuchtenberg was the oldest son of Maximilian de Beauharnais, 3rd Duc de Leuchtenberg. Through his mother he was a grandson of Tsar Nicholas I of Russia and held the title Prince Romanovsky. He inherited his father's title in 1852. In 1868 he married Nadezhda Annenkova.

He died in Paris on 5 January 1891 at the age of 47.
