Princess Marie Bonaparte Valentini
(1818-1874)
Born Marie Alexandrine Bonaparte in Rome on 20 October 1881, she was the daughter of Prince Lucien Bonaparte, brother of the first Napoléon, who was created 1st Prince of Canino and Musignano by Pope Pius VII in 1814.
On 27 June 1836 she married the liberal politician Count Vicenzo Valentini. Their marriage produced four children. Count Valentini shot and killed himself with his eldest son's gun while recovering from malaria in 1858.
Princess Marie Bonaparte Valentini died in Perugia on 20 August 1874.
