A glossy silver gelatin print showing a group of English railway workers around 1900.

Photographed by G.Edwards of 14, Astbury Road, Peckham, S.E. London. [The name is given on the mount; the address comes from another, similar photograph acquired at the same time.]

The print measures 5.8” by 7.7” (148 mm by 195 mm) and is mounted on piece of cream Bristol board measuring 9.9” by 11.9” (251 mm by 302 mm) with decorative border printed in red.

condition: The print has excellent tonal range; the mount is a little grubby and the tip of one corner has broken off
