An intriguing photograph showing three natives of South Africa, probably Zulus, with three members of the Salvation Army, the latter holding shields, spears and a knobkerrie.

Photographed at the Salvation Army Studio at the Salvation Army headquarters in Clerkenwell Road, London.

condition: The print is in very fine condition. The mount shows some foxing and its upper left-hand corner has sustained a heavy crease.
