A portrait of a Burmese woman. The photograph is almost certainly a commercial portrait commissioned by the woman herself, and not a mass-produced image intended for the tourist market.

Photographed by Kundandass and Co. of 87, Dalhousie Street, Rangoon, identified recto in the lower margin and verso by the studio's backplate.

condition: The print has good tonal range but the mount shows general signs of age. In addition,
there are some pin-holes in the upper and lower margins.
