Mrs William Holland
(1816-1905)

Born in or about 1861 at Radwinter in Essex, Matilda Bullock was the daughter of Reverend John Bullock.

On 29 October 1857 at St Mary’s in Bryanston Square, Marylebone, she became the second wife of Reverend William Holland, the Rector of Cold Norton in Essex.

Her husband died, aged 70, at his Rectory on 1 December 1867, leaving an estate valued at £35,000.

When the census was taken in 1901 the widowed Mrs Holland was living at Gaston’s House, Little Hallingbury, Essex.

She died there, aged 90, on 12 December 1905. Her estate was valued at £7885.
