The Honourable Mrs Stonor
(1832-1883)

Born in Westminster in or about 1832, Eliza Peel was the daughter of the Right Honourable Sir Robert Peel, 2nd Baronet, who twiced served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

On 25 September 1855 at the Bavarian Chapel in Warwick Street and afterwards at St Margaret's Westminster she married the Honourable Francis Stonor, second son of Thomas Stonor, 3rd Lord Camoys. Their marriage produced four children. 

The couple appear on the 1871 census living at 78 South Audley Street, Mayfair. Also present on the night of the census were five servants, including a butler and a footman. 

The Honourable Mrs Stonor served as a Lady of the Bedchamber to the Princess Alexandra, the Princess of Wales.

She died, aged 51, on 14 April 1883 at 78 South Audley Street, Mayfair, leaving an estate valued at £2030.
