Volume 12, page 264, sitting number 16,206. 

Identified in the Silvy daybooks as 'Clement Archer,' this is possibly Clement Robert Archer, formerly of a Captain in the 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards. He appears on the 1861 and 1871 censuses living at Hill House, Hampton, Middlesex. 

He died, aged 73, at Arcachon in France on 12 May 1882, leaving an estate valued at £37,581.

According to the announcement of his death in the Morning Post (20 May 1882) and in several other newspapers, his daughter Lucy Eleanor, wife of Edward Stanley Handcock, Esq., of Effingham, daughter of the above Robert Clement Archer, and widow of the late Captain Hugh Campbell, R.N.' died 'at the same place and on the same day.'
