Miss Margaret Bircham
(1843-1867)
7 March 1862

Volume 6, page 80, sitting number 7188.

Margaret Anne Bircham was born in 1843, the second daughter of Francis Thomas Bircham of Burhill near Hersham in Surrey.

On 13 August 1862 at Hersham in Surrey she married barrister-at-law Marwood Tucker of Lincoln's Inn. The marriage was performed by Reverend Marwood Tucker, Rector of Widworthy in Devon, who was presumably the groom's father (Western Daily Mercury, 16 August 1862).

The couple lived at 28 Wilton Place, Knightsbridge.

Mrs Margaret Tucker died, aged only 24, at Cannes on 19 March 1867 (Exeter and Plymouth Gazette, 22 March 1867).
