The photograph dates from around 1910 and appears to have been taken in a domestic interior. 

The print measures 6.8” by 4.5” (17.4 cm by 11.6) and is mounted on a sheet of taupe-coloured Bristol board with embossed decorative border. 

A wetstamp verso identifies the photographer as Fernando Martinez of calle Malambo 366 in Lima.
