Born in or about 1844, Selina Florinda Bookey was the elder daughter of William T. Bookey of Derryvane in County Wicklow, Ireland.

On 26 November 1874 at Christ Church, Bray, co Wicklow, she married Commander Arthur George Roberts Riall of the Royal Navy.

Mrs Selina Riall died in Dublin on 5 January 1930, aged 86.
