Identified as 'Miss M. Barham' in the Silvy daybooks, this is Caroline Mary Barham, one of the daughters of the physician Charles Barham and his wife Caroline née Carlyon. Born in 1844, she was baptised on 26 June 1844 at St Mary's, Truro, Cornwall.

She appears on the 1851 census, aged 6, living at 74 Lemon Street, Kenwyn, Cornwall, with her parents, seven siblings and four servants. 

She died at Kenwyn, aged only 20, on 16 March 1865.
