Born in 1823, Pamela Adelaide Napier was the fifth daughter of Lieutenant-General Sir William Francis Patrick Napier and Caroline Amelia née Fox.

On 21 December 1846 in Guernsey she married Phillip William Skinner [sometimes Skynner] Miles, from 1837 to 1852 the Member of Parliament for Bristol.

Her husband died on 1 October 1881 at Kingsweston House, Henbury, Gloucestershire. He left an estate valued at £21,765.

Mrs Pamela Adelaide Miles died, aged 87, on 21 February 1910 at Priory Vicarage, Shirehampton, Bristol. She left an estate valued at £2225. Her will was proved by her son Philip Napier Miles.
