This is probably Frederick Bodenham, the son of Benjamin Bodenham and Mary Ann née Channing, christened at Kington in Herefordshire on 29 August 1835. He appears on the 1881 census, a solicitor living at 10 Vens Lane, Hereford, with his wife, Laura, three daughters, and his 75-year-old mother-in-law, Lucy Phillips. The children had a governess and Mrs Bodenham had three servants to help her run the house.

Frederick Bodenham died in Hereford, aged 56, on 29 September 1891, leaving an estate valued at £9184.
