Miss Florence Clarke
(1850-1925)

Born in London in or about 1850, Florence Elizabeth Middleton Clarke was the fifth daughter of Colonel John Frederick Sales Clarke of the Royal Scots Greys (died 1856).

She appears on the 1851 census, aged 4 months, staying at 10 Cornwall Terrace in Marylebone, the home of her grandmother Margaret Terry. Also present on the night of the census were her six siblings and their mother, Margaret Clarke (née Terry).

On 20 June 1872 she married Edwin James Stuart Widdrington Caulfeild.

In 1901 they were living at 9 Eldon Road, Kensington. In 1911 they were living at 8 Stamford Road, Kensington. 

Mrs Cauldfeild died, aged 74, on 9 April 1925 at 8 Stamford Road, Kensington.
