The Honourable Mary Cadogan

[The sitter visited Silvy's studio shortly after 24 February 1863. No specific dates are given for the 80 sittings between 24 February and 5 March. The preceding entry in the daybooks is her mother, Viscountess Chelsea, later the Countess of Cadogan.]

Born Lady Charlotte Georgiana Mary Cadogan, her father was Viscount Chelsea, later the 4th Earl of Cadogan. She appears on the 1851 census as Charlotte G. Cadogan, aged 7, living with her parents and siblings at 28 Lowndes Street, Chelsea. She was born in Durham.

On 14 July 1874 she married Reverend Maynard Wodehouse Currie, third son of Raikes Currie of Minley Manor, Hampshire. Their marriage produced no children.

Reverend Currie died in 1887. Lady Mary Currie died on 16 November 1908.
