(1829-1919)
26 July 1861

 Volume 4, page 285, sitting number 5211.

Identified as 'Mrs E. D. Carr' in the Silvy daybooks, this is probably the wife of Reverend Edmund Donald Carr, the Rector of Woolstaston in Shropshire.

Born Elizabeth Carr in or about 1829 at Darley Abbey in Derbyshire, she was the daughter of John Edmund Carr. She married Edmund Donald Carr at Darley Abbey on 10 January 1855.

The couple appear on the 1871 census living at the Rectory in Woolstaston with three servants.

In 1911 Mrs Carr was still living in the same place. Now a widow, she had five servants to look after her.

Mrs Elizabeth Carr died, aged 90, on 10 January 1919 at Woolstaston Rectory, Leebotwood, Shropshire. She left an estate valued at £20,407.
