Princess Giulia Bonaparte
(1830-1900)
Identified verso as 'Princesse Julie Bonaparte,' this is probably Julie Charlotte Bonaparte ('Giulia'), second daughter and fourth child of Prince Charles-Lucien Bonaparte, 2nd Prince of Canino and Musignano, and his wife Princess Zénaïde Bonaparte. Her father was the eldest son of Prince Lucien Bonaparte; her mother was the elder daughter of Prince Joseph Bonaparte and Julie Clary.
She was born in Rome on 5 June 1830; she died in the same city, aged 70, on 28 October 1900. She married Alessandro del Gallo, marquese di Roccagiovine and had issue.
