Miss Grylls
24 March 1862
Volume 6, page 119, sitting number 7347.
[Identified only as 'Miss Grylls' in the Silvy daybooks, there are two candidates for a fuller identitication: Miss Adelaide Grylls, daughter of Reverend Henry Grylls of St Neot in Cornwall, and Miss Mary Grylls, daughter of Reverend Charles Grylls of Lanhydrock in Cornwall. However, I already have a Silvy portrait of Miss Adelaide Grylls — see page 56 of this section — and this does not appear to be the same sitter. That leaves Miss Mary Grylls as the likeliest match, though there may well be others whom I haven't uncovered.]
