Alexandrina Zanzi was the only child of the Italian silk merchant Alexander Zanzi and his English wife, Marianne. Born on 5 May 1847, she was baptised the following month on 2 June at Holy Trinity, Brompton.
She appears on the 1861 census, living with her parents at 30 Brompton Crescent, Knightsbridge, London.
On 24 October 1868 at Brompton she married Jean Claude Biétrix (1837-1926), son of Claude Camille Biétrix, a merchant from Lyon in France.
She died in Lyon on 20 February 1907.
