Princess Joachim Murat
(1832-1884)
Born Malcy Louise Caroline Berthier de Wagram in Paris on 22 June 1832, she was the daughter of Napoléon Berthier de Wagram, 2nd duc de Wagram and his wife Zénaïde Françoise Clary, a niece of Désirée Clary and Julie Clary.
In 1854 at the Tuileries Palace she married Prince Joachim Murat, the eldest son of Prince Napoléon Lucien Charles Murat, 2nd Prince of Pontecorvo and 3rd Prince Murat. His grandfather was Joachim Murat, King of Naples, who married Napoléon's sister, Caroline Bonaparte.
Their marriage produced two daughters and one son, the 5th Prince Murat.
Princess Joachim Murat died in Paris on 17 May 1884.
