This is probably John Vivian Hampton Hampton, the second son of John Lewis Hampton Lewis (1823-1871) of Henllys and Bodior, Anglesey. He was baptised at Richmond in Yorkshire on 7 July 1835. 

He appears on the 1861 census as a visitor at 46 Brunswick Square, Hove, Sussex, the house of Ralph Blegborough, a 'Landed Proprietor.' He gave his profession as 'Clerk' and his birthplace as Anglesey, Wales. 

On 2 June 1868 he married Lady Laura Elizabeth Minnie Phipps, eldest daughter of George Augustus Constantine Phipps, 2nd Marquess of Normanby.

The couple appear on the 1871 census living with their one-year-old daughter Constance at Hackbridge Lodge, Carshalton, Surrey. Also present on the night of the census were Laura's parents and seven servants.

John Vivian Hampton Hampton died, aged 55, on 18 August 1890 at his residence Oakdale, Holmwood, Surrey. He left an estate valued at £55,376.
