The Honourable Mrs Horace Trelawney

Born in or about 1836, the Honourable Maria Katherine Walsh was the eldest daughter of John Benn Walsh, 1st Baron Ormathwaite and his wife Lady Jane Grey, daughter of the 6th Earl of Stamford.
On 28 April 1859 at St George's in Hanover Square she married Horace Dormer Trelawney, eldest son of Harry Brereton-Trelawny, of London and Shotwick Park, Cheshire.
The couple appear on the 1881 census, living at Shotwick Park, Saughall, Cheshire. Also present on the night of the census were five daughters and fourteen servants. Mr Trelawney gave ‘Magistrate’ as his profession.
Mrs Maria Trelawney died on 23 Janaury 1910 at Slindon in Sussex. She left effects valued at £2151.
