[There is some confusion in the Silvy daybooks concerning the spelling of the sitter's surname. That of her father, whose sitting preceeds hers in the daybooks, has been corrected to 'Bonneville', while that of her and her elder sister, whose sitting follows hers in the daybooks, is spelled 'Bonville'. Of the two, the latter is certainly the more common spellling. In addition, the sitter's initial in the daybooks has been corrected in pencil from an 'H' to a 'V'.]
