Miss Constance Monk

Miss Constance Monk appears on the 1861 census, the three-year-old daughter of barrister-at-law Charles James Monk, of Everleigh in Wiltshire. She was born at Paddington in London on 6 September 1857.

On 20 November 1882 she married army officer Eugene Ayshford Sanford. The marriage produced three children.

Mrs Constance Sanford died at Abergavenny in Wales on 18 December 1939, aged 82.
