Miss Henrietta Farquharson

Born on 12 February 1829, Henrietta Dundas Farquharson was the daughter of James Farquharson of Invercauld and his wife Janet Hamilton née Dundas.
In 1861 she was living with her parents and eight siblings at 15 Park Lane, Mayfair. Also present on the night of the census were seventeen live-in servants, including a butler, two footmen and a coachman.
In 1871 she was living at 3 Great Cumberland Place, the home of her brother, George Farquahrson, a clerk in the War Office.
Miss Henrietta Farquharson died unmarried, aged 85, on 2 March 1925 at Tigh-na-Roid, Braemar, Aberdeenshire. She left an estate valued at £3154.
